Supporting the campaign

Contribute

Lawn signs, printing and a small office add up. If you'd like to help pay for them, thank you. Please read the rules first: only certain people are allowed to give, and I have to record every contribution for Elections BC.

Four things to know before you give:
  1. Only individuals who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents and who live in British Columbia can contribute. Businesses, unions and organizations cannot, and nobody can pay you back for giving.
  2. The 2026 limit is $1,429.70 per person, to any one candidate, for this election. That's your total across all your gifts, not per gift.
  3. If your contributions add up to $100 or more, your name and the amount go on the public record filed after the election.
  4. There is no tax receipt for local election contributions in B.C.

Step 1Amount
$

Minimum $5 online. Maximum $1,429.70 in total from one person.

Step 2Your information

Elections BC requires the financial agent to record these details for every contribution.

Your receipt goes here.

Only B.C. residents can contribute.

Step 3Eligibility declaration

Every box is unticked and every box is required. If you can't honestly tick one, the law doesn't allow you to contribute.

You'll finish on Stripe's secure payment page. Your card number never passes through this website.

Prefer not to pay online?

This sends me your details and declaration, then shows you where to send the money.

Why I collect this. The Local Elections Campaign Financing Act requires the financial agent to record the full name and addresses of every contributor, the amount, the date, and how eligibility was confirmed. Contributions of $100 or more are reported by name and amount to Elections BC and published.

Who can see it. Me, as the campaign's financial agent, and Elections BC. Card payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your card details under its own privacy policy; this site never sees your card number. Contribution records are kept separate from the campaign's general contact list and from my business contacts, and are never uploaded to advertising tools.

When I delete it. Contribution records are kept for as long as the Act requires after the campaign financing report is filed, then deleted. Giving does not sign you up for campaign emails.

Paying by e-Transfer or cheque

Interac e-Transfer to raj@rajoberoi.ca. For a cheque, email me first and I'll confirm the exact payee name for the campaign account. I still need the same information and declaration from you, so please fill in the form above and choose "I'll pay by e-Transfer or cheque".
